Hi, I’m Janeiro. Some people call me Neiro, Neiro Black, or Neiro Bleezy, and I usually write under the pen name J. R. Blackmon. I’ve never shared my thoughts or journey publicly the way I plan to use this space now, and I feel this is the right time and a great place to document it.

So, who am I?

The longer I live, the more I realize that I am many things—some for a short while, others embedded deep in the core of my being. I may be more things or fewer things next month. I’m okay with that.
