Welcome to tid, a social blogging platform with heart. We’re a kind, positive community and plan to keep it that way. While being able to express yourself freely is important, a shared space works best when we can all agree to some basic rules.

These Community Guidelines supplement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. By using tid, you acknowledge and agree to these guidelines.

This is intended to be a positive place where anyone can share their thoughts and ideas, express their creativity, learn from and interact with others, and express themselves without fear. It’s not however, a place for racism, hate, or bigotry. Your words must be your own, and you should not post illegal content (text or images) or any content that violates the laws of the United States of America.

I may update these from time to time as we continue to learn and adapt. However, I will always do my best to be transparent with you and listen to your feedback before making changes.

Illegal Content

Do not post illegal content of any kind. This includes text, images, and links to external sites that contain illegal content or are known to do so.

Hate and Harassment

This goes without saying, but we do not tolerate hate and abuse toward other users or any persons. If you must criticize, be constructive. Do not mock, bully, or belittle others. Abusers will be banned from the platform.

Respect Animals

Animals are the most wonderful beings on this planet. We should cherish and learn from them. Any post that disrespects animals or promotes harm is strictly prohibited.

Own Your Words

Do not repost someone else’s words and try to pass them as your own. Always quote the author and ensure you have permission to publish their work.

Spam and Self-Promotion

We have a zero-tolerance spam policy. Do not post spam or publish content that mainly serves to advertise or promote a product, service, or business. Spam will be removed, and repeat offenders here may be banned.

Low Effort Content

The content you post on tid should be meaningful and offer value to our community. Content is considered "low effort" if it’s excessively short and without context, repetitive, dominated by profanity, or consists primarily of links. Low effort content may be flagged by moderators and removed.

AI Generated Content

We strictly prohibit AI generated content (also known as “AI slop”). There is no value in posting content generated by AI on this platform. This is a place for humans to write and share their words.

Content Moderation

Posts and blogs are subject to moderation and may be hidden, de-indexed, or removed if they are found to be in violation of these Community Guidelines or Bitzag’s Terms of Service.
