Terms of Service
Last updated: April 8, 2026
These Terms govern your access to and use of tid, a social blogging platform operated by Bitzag LLC at tid.so, including any blog subdomain (username.tid.so) and the official browser extension. By creating an account or using tid in any way, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Your account
You must provide accurate information when signing up and keep it current. You're responsible for everything that happens under your account, including keeping your password confidential. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us at support@tid.so. We may suspend or terminate accounts with inaccurate information or that have been compromised.
Acceptable use
You may use tid for any lawful purpose, but you may not:
- Spam, harass, threaten, or impersonate others
- Post content that's illegal, hateful, infringing, or deceptive
- Mass-post, chain-post, auto-post, or publish AI-generated slop
- Reverse-engineer or tamper with tid's code, infrastructure, or security
- Use bots or scrapers against tid without written permission
- Distribute malware or attempt denial-of-service attacks
- Resell, sublicense, or transfer your account or Pro subscription
- Use tid in a way that materially degrades service for other users
We may investigate violations, cooperate with law enforcement, and terminate accounts that break these rules — without refund. Repeated or severe violations result in immediate termination.
Your content
You own what you write on tid. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and store your content as needed to operate tid (e.g., serving your blog at yourname.tid.so, generating RSS feeds, sending email digests to your followers).
You're responsible for what you publish. Don't post content you don't have the right to share. We may remove posts that violate these Terms, the Community Guidelines, or the law — and our automated moderation system may flag posts that score below a quality threshold.
You can upload images to your posts (subject to plan limits — see Pricing). We don't guarantee against accidental loss or corruption of uploaded files. Don't upload sensitive information like passwords, financial details, or government IDs.
Pro subscription and billing
tid is free to use forever, with a paid Pro tier for additional features. Pro is billed yearly through Stripe; subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel from your Account page before the renewal date. Stripe handles all payment processing — we never see your card details.
We may adjust Pro pricing with at least 14 days' notice before the next renewal. Continuing your subscription after a price change means you accept the new price.
Refunds
First-time purchases: 30-day, no-questions-asked refund. Email support@tid.so with your account email and we'll process it within 5 business days. Pro access is removed when the refund is issued.
Renewals: Renewal charges are not refundable. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid being charged.
Service availability and disclaimer
We aim for tid to be available around the clock, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, third-party outages, or unforeseen technical issues may cause downtime. We're not liable for losses arising from unavailability.
tid is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We don't warrant that tid will meet your specific needs, be free of bugs, or work on every browser or device. Any timelines we mention for bug fixes or features are estimates, not commitments.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for violations of these Terms, abusive behavior toward our team, or activity that risks the platform. Termination ends your Pro subscription without refund (except where required by law). Provisions about content ownership, liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Bitzag LLC and its officers, employees, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or lost goodwill — arising from your use of tid, even if we knew such damages were possible. Our total liability for any claim related to tid is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Bitzag LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of tid, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute that can't be resolved informally will be settled by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in Kentucky. You waive the right to participate in class actions. Claims that aren't subject to arbitration must be brought in state or federal court in Hickman County, Kentucky.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes take effect 14 days after we post them. We'll notify active users by email or in-app notice. Continuing to use tid after changes take effect means you accept them. If you don't agree, stop using tid.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in effect, and the invalid provision is modified to the minimum extent needed to be enforceable.
Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, GDPR Compliance, and Community Guidelines, are the complete agreement between you and Bitzag LLC about tid and replace all prior communications on the subject.
